One bottle of L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler serum supposedly sells every 60 seconds in the United States, which is not surprising considering the technology and the fact that it appears to be pricey. So I decided to test this popular product for a Loreal Revitalift Serum Review to see if it truly lives up to the hype.
But first, let’s go over what hyaluronic acid is. The humectant hyaluronic acid (HA) can hold 1,000 times its weight in water. While it occurs naturally in the body, levels decline with age, leaving skin dry and less firm. This is where a serum containing hyaluronic acid can make a significant impact in cushioning skin and softening wrinkles. When it comes to the skincare product order in which you should apply hyaluronic acid, it’s a good bet to do so after cleaning and toning.

A BEAUTY EDITOR’S HONEST L’ORÉAL PARIS REVITALIFT FILLER SERUM REVIEW
Uses—How do you apply Loreal Revitalift Serum?
Because the greatest hyaluronic acid serums pull moisture from their surroundings, apply the Loreal Revitalift Serum soon after cleansing onto a damp face; otherwise, it may wind up drying out your skin.
Two to three drops applied to a clean face and neck morning and night is recommended by the brand. Personally, I used it in the morning before applying day cream and my best face sunscreen, since it helped to prevent any dryness from my retinol serum overnight.
Overall Opinion – Loreal Revitalift Serum:
With such a well-known brand as L’Oréal Paris, I wasn’t sure what to anticipate from their Revitalift Derm Serum. While businesses like L’Oréal frequently receive attention and notoriety for a purpose, their products can also become overhyped and fail to produce true benefits. While the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Serum did not deliver on all of its promises, it did amaze me in more ways than one.
The serum itself is simple to apply and may (and should) be worn both morning and night. The serum’s rapid dry time and odorless characteristics also make it a relatively simple serum to use for nearly anyone. However, the presence of castor oil in the ingredient list should be avoided by people prone to skin outbreaks.
While this face serum is extremely moisturizing and gave me a youthful, dewy complexion and glow, it did not reduce fine lines and wrinkles or boost skin suppleness. As far as hydrating face serums go, this one is a definite winner! However, if you’re seeking an effective anti-aging face product, look elsewhere than Loreal Revitalift Serum.
Detailed Opinion – Loreal Revitalift Serum:
The stickiness of Loreal Revitalift Serum startled me. I really think it’s the tackiest serum I’ve ever used, so I was skeptical when I first used it. When you apply it to your face and neck, it does not feel sticky. It has a very fluid feel to it and slides easily over your skin.
Surprisingly, once the serum has been absorbed into your skin, it leaves very little residue! There is no residue to the touch, but when I applied my other facial products on top, they adhered much more easily than usual, so you can tell there is something on your face in that way.
Application of Loreal Revitalift Serum
The Loreal Revitalift Serum is really simple to use. Apply two drops of serum to your face and neck after cleansing and toning your skin and allowing it to dry completely. With this face serum, a little goes a long way, so limit yourself to no more than 2-3 drops at a time.
After the serum has dried, use your moisturizer and any other daily face products. You should also use this serum both morning and night, which is simple to do. It had no effect on the wear of my makeup, which was great!
I’m amazed by how quickly the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Serum dries, especially given how sticky the serum is! After rubbing the serum into your face and neck, it will be totally dry in 10-15 seconds.
This was my favorite element of the face serum! You could tell it was absorbed into your skin, but it was still incredibly quick and didn’t add a lot of time to my morning and night skincare regimen.
Smell – Loreal Revitalift Serum
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Serum has no odour.
I began by applying L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm serum at night, and when I awoke the next morning, my first reaction was how moisturized my skin looked and felt. My skin appeared to be more youthful and dewy, and my face felt plumper and healthier. I was immediately thrilled with the hydration element of the face serum.
Long Term Results
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm does an excellent job as a moisturising face serum. In that department, my long-term outcomes were extremely similar to my initial findings. Throughout the time I used this face serum, my complexion seemed fresh, dewy, and plump. Because of the hydration, my skin almost had a subtle sheen to it, so I loved that aspect of it!
The more I used this face serum, the more flaws appeared, which was disappointing. Personally, I believe it is because of the castor oil, which I dislike because it tends to clog my pores over time. As a result, if you have sensitive skin or are prone to breakouts, this may be a difficult face serum to use.
Because L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Serum did not deliver on the other anti-aging promises it made, such as reducing fine lines and wrinkles or enhancing skin elasticity, I believe it is more of a moisturizing serum than an anti-aging serum.
Price/Value – Loreal Revitalift Serum
If you’re seeking a long-lasting hydrating face serum, I believe L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Serum is a good investment. It does moisturize your skin and gives you a fresh, radiant complexion. And, because you only need a tiny quantity twice a day, this is an absolute steal in terms of pricing.
If you’re seeking an anti-aging serum or are prone to breakouts, this isn’t the serum for you.
On their website, L’Oréal Paris does not explicitly state their brand’s return policy. If you have a problem with one of their items, you can email or text them directly. So I’m not sure how good their return policy is based on that information or lack thereof.
